It's a Pasta Parade!

You know what I'm most excited for when I go to Rome? THE FOOD. Specifically, the pasta! Italian food is my absolute favorite. I know, it's probably the worst food for me, and is loaded with carbs, but I don't care. It's my comfort food. Who doesn't love a bowl of mac and cheese when they're feeling down?

I made a list of all the pasta dishes I want to try in Rome and, because I was bored, found recipes of them on Pinterest. Anybody else have any suggestions? I'll save the posting pictures of pizza for another day!

1. Pesto Pasta

2. Ravoli

3. Tortellini

4. Lasagna

5. Gnocchi

6. Fettuccine Alfredo

(Ok, someone told me they don't have Fettuccine Alfredo in Rome, but I don't care, I'm finding it!)

Hope these pictures don't make you all too hungry!

  2. Hey preppy!
The lasagna in Rome is fantastic! I actually had the best dish of my life in Rome... Wish I could tell you where it was! But the lasagna there was to die for. The cheese was so light it tasted like a mousse. Mmm just thinking about it makes me smile! Take me with you? Plz :)

  3. Pesto pasta is amazing. And I can argue that it is healthy because of the herbs and pine nuts. I choose to ignore the fact that they put a lots of oil and parmesan.

  6. There is a restaurant near the Trevi Fountain with the most AMAZING pasta!!! I will post it later in my blog with all my favorite restaurants once I get the street name, but it's called Spagetteria del Archette or something like that. You have to try the Carbonara! It was invented in Roma! (Apparently haha)
